Blah Blah Blah Blogging: 5 Ways to get the creative juices flowing toward a successful blog
How Continuing to Market Can Help You Flourish During and After the Pandemic
We get a slew of questions from even the most marketing-savvy business-owners so we thought we’d share some of the more frequently asked questions and answers based around Google Ads.
What are Google Ads?
Google Ads are the results that show up near the top of search results on Google with the ‘Ad’ symbol next to them.
Are Google Ads and Pay Per Click Ads the same thing?
They are not the same thing but PPC is a type of ad that Google offers. Pay per click advertising means you pay Google every time your ad is clicked. Google Ads also offers Display ads which appear on websites and search results in other places when a user is searching for similar products or on a website like the one advertised.
Will using Google Ads help my SEO?
No. BUT improving your SEO can improve your ad rank by making your page more relevant. Google Ads is essentially based on the quality of ads you create and your budget. SEO is a long-term process to improve where your website appears in organic search results. (Organic results are typically under Google Ads)
How much do I have to spend to use Google Ads?
Technically, there is no minimum, so, anything you want. However, if you want to be competitive and be sure your ads are showing regularly, you must determine the best amount to spend by including keywords that potential clients use to find you and the locations you want to advertise in.
Will I see immediate results?
Almost immediate, yes. Should you choose a budget that is appropriate and you design ads according to Google’s parameters, you should see an increase of traffic to your site, calls or purchases.
How long do I need to run my ads?
As long as you want them to appear in search results. It’s like putting an ad in the newspaper (we know… we’re dating ourselves with that example), you must pay a fee to maintain the spot, this is the same for Google Ads.
Will my budget change?
If you want to stay competitive it will have to. Some businesses will stay the same for years, and others will fluctuate. Factors that impact this are demand for your product, other competitors in the market and seasonal changes. Be sure to run regular budget assessments and check auction insights to see how you perform against competitors.
Why do you need my credit card?
Google charges a credit card monthly for your ad spend. A budget limit is set by the Google Ads administrator and you will not be charged more than that amount monthly.
Why hire SocialTrend to manage my Google Ads?
