Paid Social Media Advertising: The next step for your business?
Is Video the next step for your marketing strategy?
When you combine these statistics, you can’t ignore the importance of creating a web presence that people want to spend time on:
- 89% of consumers use the internet as a research tool before making a purchase (Digital Influence Index)
- 55% of visitors will spend less than 15 seconds on your website (ChartBeat, 2015)
So, how do you keep visitors long enough to actually read your content? GRAPHICS.
Graphics is the answer, and not just for websites, its true for social media, brochures, print ads – basically anywhere your business is represented. Today’s consumer has so many options and limited time to make decisions. Meaning, they will move to the next option if they don’t see something that keeps their attention.
Do your graphics keep the attention of your visitors? Do a quick graphic audit and determine where you are losing your visitors and need a change.
Graphic Audit: Go thru your company’s graphics (logos/pictures) and make sure they pass this check list:
- High Resolution (crisp, no blurry lines)
- Complimentary, consistent colors with surrounding elements
- Relevant to your message, brand, service or product
- Purposeful: Does it tell a story? Demonstrate your message?
- Modern (no out dated clothing, no out dated technology, etc.)
- Professional
- Do you LOVE it? If not, your potential customers won’t even like it
Are you sure you checked everywhere? Double check you covered everything:
- Website
- Social Media Platforms including Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Houzz, etc.
- Brochures
- Company Presentation Material
- T-shirts
- Company Vehicles
- Business Cards
- Stationary
- Any other digital domain representing your business (Angie’s List, Yelp, etc.)
