Graphics: Hurting or Helping Your Business
SEO: What is it? And does your business need it?
As a consumer it seems like video is everywhere! This recent HuffingtonPost article shows just how impactful video can be: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/vala-afshar/how-video-marketing-will-_b_8962102.html.
We recently posted this article on our Facebook page and had clients asking us “Is video marketing right for my business?” And for just about everyone the answer is YES. Here are some ideas to help you strategize on incorporating video into your marketing plan:
Are you a B2B Business?
- TRAINING VIDEOS: Constantly sending employees to training sessions? Training videos can be a great way to update your employees or clients on a new product. Spread the message quickly and get your product ramp to skyrocket.
- PROCESS OVERVIEW: On-boarding a new client? Why not send them a video that outlines the process? You can include an introduction to the employees they will interface with, the timeframe of each on-boarding step and the expectations for them. This can be a very engaging introduction and reduce your time and cost for on-boarding each client.
- LINKEDIN: Potential clients and potential employees will visit LinkedIn to check out your company. Here is a perfect place to post an overview of your business, tell the story of your company and how you differentiate yourself to clients and employees.
Are you a B2C Business?
- With B2C businesses there seems to be endless places to use video. A homepage video that starts when customers visit your website is a great way to engage a potential customer quickly. Video on Facebook is extremely popular and you can use that video to advertise on YouTube as well. Not sure what to put in your video? Start here:
- TELL YOUR STORY – How did your business get started? What was your passion that lead you to launch? How are you making a difference in your community or industry?
- INTRODUCTION – Put a face with the name. Introduce some of your employees and tell how they make your business successful. People love to connect with other people as opposed to a company – make it personal.
- DIFFERENTIATE – How is your business different from your competitors? What are you really proud of? Make your video around your passion to be different and the products or services you are excited to promote.
